We hereby inform you about the processing of data in the context of video surveillance by Götznerhof Besitz GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Götznerhof”).

As the controller, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection information.

4. Categories of personal data collected

Götznerhof processes image and video data that we receive as part of video surveillance of Götznerhof properties.

This data is not stored together with other personal data of the data subject.

The video surveillance system consists of static cameras in the entrance and exit areas, the check-in area, and the corridors. In addition, the respective video surveillance is indicated at suitable locations (camera symbol).

Motion data is collected and stored.

 

5. Why do we process your data and on what legal basis?

The movement data is processed to ensure appropriate security for us, visitors, and tenant companies, as well as for the infrastructure. This serves to reduce or prevent criminal offenses, investigate criminal offenses, other serious violations, enforce house rules, and protect property.

The processing is carried out in our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR) to ensure adequate security. The legitimate interest of the controller in the processing follows in all cases from the fact that the purposes of the processing outweigh the interference with the rights of the data subject associated with the processing and temporary storage.

 

6. Who will your data be transferred to?

Personal data will only be transferred to the extent necessary for processing. We are obliged to disclose personal data if this is necessary for compliance with laws, for the purpose of criminal prosecution, or to comply with court orders.

We are supported by external processors in the operation of video surveillance. Our processors are carefully selected and contractually bound. We apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures when working with all partners.

The majority of our processors and partners are located within the EU/EEA or Switzerland. In exceptional cases, if it is necessary to transfer your data to a third country outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland, this will only take place if an adequate level of data protection exists or further guarantees can be provided to ensure data protection.

 

7. How long do we store your data?

Video data is generally not stored for longer than 72 hours.

An exception applies in cases where disclosure is necessary for compliance with the law, for the purpose of criminal prosecution or to comply with court orders, or to protect the rights, property or safety of another person, including our own property or rights.

This allows you to obtain information about your data stored by us and its processing, request the correction of inaccurate personal data, request the deletion of your data stored by us, and request the restriction of data processing and data portability.
