Welcome to our traditional inn in Götzens – a place where Tyrolean hospitality has been alive and well for over 40 years.
Tradition meets modernity – welcome to our inn in Götzens.
For over 40 years, our hotel has been synonymous with genuine Tyrolean hospitality. Today, we combine this tradition with a contemporary concept: fully automated check-in, digital guest information, and maximum comfort – for an uncomplicated stay tailored to your needs.
With us, you can enjoy all the advantages of a classic inn – including comfortably furnished rooms, modern amenities, and magnificent views – combined with the flexibility of a self-check-in hotel. Most of our 26 rooms have a balcony or roof terrace from which you can enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains in peace.
This allows you to make your stay as individual and independent as possible – simply arrive, check in, and feel at home.
Built in 1969/70 by Anna and Anton Ellinger, our inn has always been firmly rooted in the community of Götzens near Innsbruck. For decades, it was a place of encounter, characterized by family warmth and regional ties. In 1987, their son Walter took over the business together with his wife Karin and continued the tradition with great dedication.
In July 2025, our hotel will begin a new chapter: in collaboration with b-smart, the inn will now be operated as a modern self-check-in hotel—with the aim of offering our guests even more independence, comfort, and flexibility. The values of yesteryear will remain unchanged.
Our hotel in Götzens is the ideal starting point for actively discovering the diversity of the region: whether hiking, biking, climbing, or horseback riding—the nature experience begins right outside the door. On warm days, surrounding swimming pools and lakes invite you to swim and relax.
Motorcycle enthusiasts will also find the perfect base here: numerous panoramic tours across the most impressive passes in North and South Tyrol start very close by.
In winter, the Mutterer Alm and Axamer Lizum ski areas are easily accessible with free ski buses – ideal for those who want to spend the day on the slopes.
Mountain bike fans take note: the Mutters Bike Park is only about a 10-minute drive away and offers trails for every level.
And if you feel like some urban flair, Innsbruck is only a few minutes away: the capital of the Alps is easily accessible by public transportation. There you will find historic old town streets, modern architecture, museums, cafés, and a varied cultural program – a perfect complement to the natural experience around Götzens. Urban-alpine lifestyle at its best.
